ABOUT ZACH
Zach Abel is a performance guitarist born in 2003, Ormond Beach, FL. He spent the first portion of his childhood in Florida, where he began playing at the age of 5. At the age of 7, his family moved to Linden, Michigan, where he played in a local music community, which helped him begin to develop his musicianship at a young age. Around that time, he also got involved in his local church of 1,000+ members, where he would play for the youth as well as the adult services, making him the youngest player on the team. Aside from that, there is almost never a time in his life when he was not doing something musically, from playing in bands in a local bar to recording in high-level professional studios.
From here, his style began to develop. Outside of church music, he listens to many artists such as Hippo Campus and Feed me Jack.
It became apparent to Zach around high school that music was the thing he wanted to pursue for the rest of his life. With encouragement from his family, he applied to Berklee College of Music in 2020 and was accepted on scholarship as a performance major. Graduating in 2026 with a bachelor's degree in music, his time at Berklee opened his world up to many musical opportunities and ideas, such as session work and touring.
Being surrounded by so many amazing musicians helped Zach further expand his sound, now influenced by genres such as jazz and fusion. He is now involved with artists such as S.Y.D., Wake up Claudia, and artist Olivia Pampinella.
